Queenie
Finally Elsie is well enough to leave the hospital. But before she does, she has one very special, very unexpected visitor ...
I read this while in hospital because I knew the main character was in hospital too, it helped me so much. Would recommend
This was my 姑姑's birthday gift to me, and it is one of the reasons why I am the way I am. (I still have no clue what exactly the characters mean by 'women's troubles', but it gets me a damn good giggle whenever I bring it up to my teachers.)

Read this in Year 6. I kept it in my tub and pulled it out for silent reading time. I think it took me the entire year to read only because I never took it home. My teacher would write notes on our book progress and Id never made it a page further than her last check. Good book though!
i read this book when i was quite young, like eight or so and absolutely adored it. i just found it again on my book shelf and im thinking of doing a reread because this was my favourite book when i was younger
Such a lovely heartwarming story. Amazing.
This is an excellent must read book about a girl who catches TB
