Explanation Concering Books The Price of Trust
What was going on? Was she allowing herself to think too much of this little town? Or just the people in it. She blushed as she remembered how her heart had sped up as Joe had sat next to her. Carly Richards is on the run. For the last two years, she's skipped from town to town, ducking her dangerous and well-informed ex-fiance every few weeks, never settling anywhere for long. With the death of her parents, Carly's vulnerability made her trust a man with an attractive facade, now that same man tracked her across the country, always nipping at her heels, preventing her from reaching out to anyone other than her God. Now she's in Montana, and surely that is far enough away from Texas and her abusive past that she can rest. But her emotional scars are reluctant to heal, and Carly resists the friendliness of those in the small town she lights upon, especially handsome farmer Joe Baird. Without a car and money, though, she has little choice but to dig in and begin building back up her savings so she can run once more. Caught in the circumstances, the kind people around her begin to creep into her softening heart. God is at work, and she has to trust him to not only take care of her, but care for the people she is learning to love. Carly must learn The Price of Trust.

I love the storyline, it has suspense, romance (who doesn't like romance ?) and most of all it is well written by Amanda. She has a way with words, her very one style and I found it to be gentle. I did like the main characters, but I also liked the brother, Todd and the way Joe and him got along. Very nice and inspiring, promoting faith in Jesus and Christian relationships with friends and family. This book had the potential of being good. The story-line was interesting and the characters engaging. However, I do not feel the book lived up to its potential. The main character, Carly, is being stalked by her former boyfriend and is in danger. I wish that she would have at least tried to get a restraining order on him and involved the police to be on the look-out for him. Also in her new relationship, the author constantly refers to her new boyfriend as "playfully" punching her or "pinching"
Amanda Stephan has managed to take equal parts faith, intrigue, humor, and love and turn them into a delicious recipe called "The Price of Trust". This enchanting story of a frightened and lonely young woman fleeing an abusive ex fiancee kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The journey the main character Carly undertakes with the Lord turns her from a terrified victim into a confident, stand-your-ground, loved, and cherished woman. If you are looking for a christian romance with

Definitely an enjoyable read! Amanda Stephan did a great job writing her debut novel. The characters are genuine, to the point that you would want to see a sequel to this book. The story is interesting enough to keep reading and the gospel message is uncompromised. Some dialogues were a bit too long for my taste, but overall: awesome job Amanda!
An intricate tapestry of fear, faith, mystery, and down-home goodness, author Amanda Stephan has interwoven these elements and offers us The Price of Trust. The thread of fear crosses the strand of faith as Carly Richards attempts to outrun the long-arm of her abusive ex-fiance. And the mystery builds while the abusers cohorts trail Ms. Richards into a small Montana town filled with down-home goodness. Love is waiting in the wings there, but will Carlys torn and tattered heart be trusting enough
Christian romance is my favorite genre, so I jumped at the chance to download the title from Smashwords. (Thank you Amanda for giving me a free download.) This is a first novel, but the story has the polish and emotion of a veteran in field. I usually don't like the conversion experience when written into a novel because they seem forced and un-natural; such was not the case in The Price of Trust. This time it fit, and made sense; even though it was a minor character to whose inner thoughts the

It seems that no matter where she goes, he tracks her down. This time, however, she finds herself stranded in a small town in Montana without a vehicle.
