I adore these types of books. Almost genre-less. Its kind of like the literary version of Seinfeld. I might be also tempted to label it a pseudo-childrens book. Its for you, my Goodreads friend. Your child may read it a decade or two from now. Such a fun quick read. Riddled with jokes, puns, lists and pop culture references - some hidden and some in ya face. The book is also meta. I love when a book (or tv show/movie) references itself! We are not just dealing with Rabbit and Elephant (our titleT.A. Young likes nothing better than to be mistaken for one of his fictitious authors. If you want to know about the real T.A., read Elephant and Rabbit As Told By Skib Bricluster. T. may answer to "Skib," but we know he's Rabbit.
