Interpretation Concering Books Suddenly One Summer (FBI/US Attorney #6)

From the New York Times bestselling author of It Happened One Wedding comes a novel about a man and a woman whose summer is about to get very, very steamy…

Divorce lawyer Victoria Slade has seen enough unhappy endings to swear off marriage forever. That doesn't mean she's opposed to casual dating—just not with her cocky new neighbor, who is as gorgeous and tempting as he is off-limits. But once she agrees to take on his sister's case, she's as determined to win as ever—even if that means teaming up with Ford…

Investigative journalist Ford Dixon is bent on finding the man who got his sister pregnant and left her high and dry. He's willing to partner with Victoria, despite the fact that the beautiful brunette gets under his skin like no other woman. He might not be looking to settle down, but there's no denying the scorching attraction between them. Still, the more time he spends with Victoria, the more he realizes that the one woman as skeptical about love as he is might be the only woman he could really fall for…

Comment On Based On Books Suddenly One Summer (FBI/US Attorney #6)
Suddenly One Summer: A sublime 5 star read that further cements Julie James prowess as an author and and a literary inspiration for a lot of womenI'm struggling with formulating a review for this book due to my attachment and having subsequently just finished it. Obviously, you readers understand the emotional flood that can happen post a perfect book. Either way, I'll try to muddle through this review. I haven't done a serious review in eons, but this book was worth breaking my hiatus. One

Review posted: Happily Ever After - ReadsBlog rating: BVictoria Slade hasnt had a great experience in her new home. After her home is broken into with Victoria there and hiding in the closet, she doesnt feel safe and buys a home at another location that wont be ready for a few months. In the meantime, she moves into a condo temporarily and right next door to reporter Ford Dixon, a man who unknowingly makes a really bad first impression. Victoria doesnt want anything to do with Ford, but that

*4.5 stars*Different to what I had expected... Not sure how I feel about it, considering the author DID say it wasn't like her other books... Review to follow...*ARC courtesy of Netgalley and Berkley*

My feelings for this book have been going up and down throughout the book. In general, I dont think its as fun or as good as the other books in the series. However, I do recognize the characters in this book are perhaps better developed. I like that we get to dive into trust issues and the psychological reason why the characters are the way they are. Both Victoria and Ford have their own issues and the feelings feel authentic. My heart hurts for Victoria knowing her childhood. Fords past is not

Another fine hit and my favorite by James so farthough I've only read two others, really. Still, that's three four-star reads and that's no small thing. This story was more believable than the others and it flowed a bit better too. Plus, it had no drawbacks or quirks I had to get past to enjoy the story. That said, I had a bit of a hard time with the protagonists. I'm not a huge fan of the commitment-phobe and having both so severely commitment impaired made it even less enjoyable. Still,

Basically, I had a horrible day and needed a pick-me-up. As usual, James wows with her amazing characterisation and sexy banter. She's the only romance author I've favourited, and she totally deserves it.

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review[image error]Oooh..Suddenly One Summer by Julie James was my first read from this author and I have to say that I quite enjoyed this sexy, fun, and sweet romance!! Ms. James has created and weaved an engaging romance book that will instantly hook readers right off the opening pages. This book was well written that highlights a divorce lawyer and an investigator reporter, who suddenly find themselves in a summer love affair. I really enjoyed
