Description In Favor Of Books Tyler (The Secret Life of Cowboys #1)

Desperate times call for desperate measures...
When Tyler Garahan said he'd do anything to save his family's ranch, he never thought that would include taking a job as a stripper at a local ladies' club. But the club's fiery redheaded bookkeeper captures Tyler's attention, and for her, he'll swallow his pride...

And one good turn deserves another...
Emily Langley feels for the gorgeous cowboy. It's obvious that he's the real deal and wouldn't be caught dead in a ladies' revue if he wasn't in big trouble. And when he looks at her like that, she'll do anything to help...
Working days on the ranch and nights at the ladies' club, Tyler is plumb exhausted. But could it be that his beautiful boss needs him just as much as he needs her...

Comment On Based On Books Tyler (The Secret Life of Cowboys #1)
First in the series The Secret Life of Cowboys by C.H. Admirand. I'm torn between a 3 and 4 star but decided on the 3 because of the lack of chemistry in the story. The story itself ran along smoothly for me but I just didn't feel the chemistry between the H/h. It was more a case of "got an itch and needed to scratch it". I did like the characters, including the secondary characters. (view spoiler)[The subplot of the guy who wanted to change the town's name was a little odd. (hide spoiler)]

3.5 stars...Tyler Garahan needs money to save his family's ranch. Emily Langley needs a stripper for her bar. The premise has lots of potential. Even the storyline worked. What didn't was that if they weren't actually having sex, they were thinking about having it. It got tiresome--and irritating. I'm all for attraction and wanting to act on it, but this time it made my eyes glass over until I found the next piece of the story I could sink my teeth into. The minor characters were a total hit! I

I just finished the ARC copy of Dylan and didn't realize it wasnt the first book - But Tylers story is a whole different book :) I am falling in love with the Cowboy's from Pleasure, Texas! I can't even explain it :) Tyler and Emily's story starts off with Tyler reading the ad for the Lucky Star interview - "Hardworking Man wanted. Must have a strong back and even temperament. Apply in person.."Tyler had to find a job - NOW - the mortgage to the ranch was so far behind, he's worried they're

Review copy provided by publisherDNF at page 66Why I Read this Book: I hadnt read a cowboy romance before and Ive been itching to give one a try. When I saw this book, I thought this would be a good start. And at a quick glance, the guy on the cover reminds me of Josh Harnett ;) Sadly, Tyler was a DNF for me.What I Liked: The premise was interesting and sounded kind of funny. Tyler seems like a good guy whos found himself in a tough financial situation. Desperate times call for desperate

Western romance novels can be a hard thing at times for me to read. Sometimes authors go over the top in the country western talk and make it cliched. Authors have to walk a fine line with this subject in my opinion. When I started reading this book, I was having a hard time getting into it. Yes there is the typical cowboy talk and such, but I also had a hard time getting into the characters. At first, they just didn't spark my interest. It starts out with Tyler looking for a job at a night club.

Tyler is a strong sexy cowboy who is having money problems and about to lose the ranch that has been in his family for over 150 years. He and his two younger brother have worked hard, but the balloon mortgage and the feed bill is due and they don't have the money to pay it. Tyler answers an ad for a job at a local bar thinking it is for his muscle. The job turns out to be working for a couple of sexy red headed cousins as a male stripper. It pays well and between the pay and the tips it may
