Relation To Books Surfacing the Rim (Piercing the Fold #2)

This book was even better than the first book in this series! It was developed amazingly and I loved the romance! I didn't think for a second that I would love this series as much as I did but it pretty much reminds me to never judge a book before I have read it! After the ending to Piercing the Fold I was really looking forward to reading this book and luckily I already had a copy of it! The plot of this book continues on from Piercing the Fold and again I did have to pay close attention to it to make sure that I understood it and that I was able to follow it! I really enjoyed the plot though and I loved how it had developed from the first book! It was again original as well! The characters again were amazing! Jesca really pushes herself in this book and she goes through a lot! Nate was perfect! I found myself loving him and his character so much as he was perfect for Jesca! I really enjoyed having Xander in this book more than what he was in the last one as he brought so much to the story and the plot! The love triangle heated up in this book and I loved it! I was really mad with who Jesca chose as I was rooting for the other guy but who knows what might happen in the next book! I really enjoyed Piercing the Fold being told from multiple point of views as well as I normally don't like books that do this but for this book it was essential! After the ending I am really looking forward to finding out where the next book in this series goes! The cover is also very pretty and it suits the first book in this series! Big thank you to Venessa for letting me Beta read Surfacing the Rim!

Write-Up Epithetical Books Surfacing the Rim (Piercing the Fold #2)
Being the sequel of another books means there's pressure to live up to. Surfacing the Rim not only lives up to the standard set by Piercing the Fold but surpasses it in many ways. The characters are much richer and more complicated in this book. Jesca, also, realizes that who she thought she was romantically linked to, she is not. But she is romantically linked through love to the other linked to one she is linked to.Venessa continues her style of heady but well done paranormal sci-fi that allows

The universe is being torn by the intersection of two galaxies. The world is being torn by those who are on opposite sides of an imminent invasion. And Jescas world is being torn by the love of two men.Ezra and the rest of the guardians are on high alert. The collision with the Andromeda galaxy will happen sooner than anyone thought, helped along by an attraction that the other worlds have towards something on this planet. Those who oppose Ezra and company are dead-set on the invasion happening.

Wow! Book two was even better than the first. I have decided that I love that there are so many character POV's! It really pulls you into the story and keeps you there, in my opinion. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, you find out you were wrong. Lots of loving going on in this book! After the ending I am anxious to read the next one to see what's going to happen. Wonderful, wonderful job Venessa Kimball! Out of all the books I have read so far, yours have been my

Surfacing the Rim started right where Piercing the Fold left off. It consumed me so much I read it in one day. I felt as if I was living within the book. It is such a one of the kind storyline that has a little bit of something for everyone. During this installment Jesca is faced with a mission that in order to complete, she has to overcome many difficulties. You learn a lot about the history of the copula and family secrets as well. The suspense and details in it were fabulous. I loved how the

This book takes off right after book one, Piercing the Fold. Jesca is back as are most of the other characters from the first book. Still reeling from her last adventure, Jes has to deal with her new powers as they are developing. Now that Jes and Nate are Linked to each other their powers will only intensify.
