Explanation Toward Books Girls That Growl (Blood Coven Vampire #3)

Rayne McDonald thought getting into the Blood Coven was the hard part. But now there's a new breed of trouble in town...and the former slayer and her vampire boyfriend may be the only ones who can stop it.

Now that she's an official vampire and full-fledged member of The Blood Coven, Rayne assumes her vampire slaying days are over. Sure, she doesn't have any vampire powers, thanks to a mutated blood virus, but she and Jareth can go out in the sun, which is a pretty good trade-off.

But just when Rayne's starting to enjoy her afterlife, she's contacted by Slayer Inc once again. It seems that a member of her high school's football team has disappeared—and the powers-that-be think the cheerleaders had something to do with it. Now Rayne has to infiltrate the squad before the cheerleaders have a chance to sink their teeth into someone else...

When we first met Rayne McDonald, she was getting ready to become a vampire, only to have those dreams taken away from her when the guy who was supposed to transform her bit her twin sister instead. Then she discovered that her destiny wasn't to become a vampire but to slay the bad ones. So she then joined Slayer, Inc. to fulfill her destiny, only to have one of her missions bite back -- literally. And the vampire who bit her, Maverick, infected her with a virus, and the only way to be saved was

Girls that Growl by Mari Mancusi is my favorite book so far in this series. The book's focus is on Rayne McDonald. This one focuses on her adjusting on being a newbie vampire and don't forget she is still the current Vampire Slayer. Her task on hand this time is to locate missing football players. Dark Goth Rayne must go undercover as a cheerleader to try to understand what is going on in the athletic department of high school. All while dealing with the vampire life, working on her love

Well that was a shock and a half.

wow. i loved this book. teenage angst. it takes you back to high school and all the crap you had to put up with. i love the character of rayne she is awesome. she is vampire, plus vampire-slayer. wow. that is something. this book has everything. vampires, lycans, cheerleaders. when she cried i cried. she has anger issues, but she has alot to deal with as well. there's mystery scary moments and romance. but it all comes out good in the end. wonderful book. i kinda of read in backwards order, this is

Obviously it takes eight brains to come to one decision in this crowd. Good thing they have one another. Wow this book was so much better than the first two. And I definitely feel like I'm an outsider on this series but it's okay I'm going to state my opinion and deal with it. I don't really know how else to explain without spoiling this book/series but I feel like the characters were like 50% better in this book than they were in the first two. It honestly could be because I've read so many

Girls that Growl by Mari Mancusi is a great addition to the Blood Coven Vampires series. This book continues this series in an excellent manner all the while expanding the universe even farther. Our lead, Rayne, grows as a character which is a nice change compared to many YA novels where our leads stay the same throughout the entire series. Mari explores lycan within this book alongside Rayne's character development. While this isn't my favourite book out of the entire series (this is actually my
