Commentary Concering Books The Desert Princess (The Sultan's Heir, #2)

Princess Althea of Ronan hoped to have just a few days of freedom after she snuck out of the palace in the middle of the night. Instead, she finds herself abducted and sold into slavery in the neighboring desert land of Zaityra… where she comes face to face with Sultan Ezhad.

Enamored with the wayward lady of Ronan, Sultan Ezhad promises to change her negative view of his land and keep her safe as she remains a guest in his palace.

Alone and afraid of the sultan finding out her true title, she keeps the secret that could topple an empire. But she finds herself not as alone as she thought when she discovers the Ronan spy in their midst. Together they must find a way to safely return her home without being found out and avoid the threat of war.

The Desert Princess is a fantasy adventure that will appeal to lovers of fantasy adventure epics, young adult, romance, and historical fiction. It does contain violence, only a couple curse words, and talk of sexual situations (though not descriptive).

Article Of Books The Desert Princess (The Sultan's Heir, #2)
The Desert Princess is a fantasy action masterpiece! The best fiction I've read this year.Super exotic ancient middle eastern settings.Brilliantly vivid characterization. Unique in that both the heroine and villains are so richly developed, they are 3 dimensional and leaping off the pages filled with a life of their own.A most compelling read.

The Desert Princess is an epic fantasy adventure- a fabulous page turner where every single character is so vividly portrayed they come to life, jumping off the pages and into reader's imagination. Fabulous characterisation and breathtaking scenic descriptions of ancient far away gulf kingdoms! Princess Althea is a fascinating, fiesty heroine- in the mould of Princess Jasmine with a double does of Xena the warrior princess. The evil Zamaya is the ultimate bad girl- a blood thirsty despotic

Christina is the author of The Sultan's Heir and The Desert Princess. She writes Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Romance, Science Fiction, and Adventure books for Young Adult to New Adult and beyond. Her pages are filled with feisty and independent women, strong and honorable men, as well as complicated and dangerous villains. She would love for you to hang out with her at

SurprisedI wasn't sure that I would like this story because of the fear the heroine would be a spoiled, entitled princess. I also was hesitant because of the harem and slavery issues but it was well done and showed the reasoning and differences between each country. The story moved smoothly and was not love at first sight unrealistic. I became intrigued with the subtle maneuvering involved with being a ruler and the touch of crazy that has to twist a person who can't trust anyone. Scary. I am
