UGH, this book. The 2 stars is generous, to be honest. It's really more 1.5-ish.My disclaimer on this review is that I'm not a hardcore C&R fangirl like so many others are. I just read the series because it is campy, completely unrealistic, mostly fun, escapist entertainment - I rated 5 of the 6 previous books 3 stars. I think Ty is adorable, the sex is reasonably hot, and a lot of the series has been pretty humorous. Well, this book was campy and completely unrealistic, all right, but itI knew there was a reason I should be scared to read this one. This one was fucking brutal. On my damn heart. My stomach was in knots. This might be the most action packed of the series so far. Once again, very different from all of the other books. And talk about some realmoments.I couldn't stop reading. ******** SPOILERS ********* SPOILERS **********1.5 rounded to 2 for some parts that were so OTT, I had to laugh, and for 45% to 67% having some good parts. The more I think about this book, the more annoyed I'm becoming. Take for instance the Big Drama. That went NOWHERE.
