After having their faces plastered across the news during a high-profile case, FBI Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have become more useful to the Bureau posing for photo ops than working undercover. Just as Zane is beginning to consider retirement a viable option, Ty receives a distress call from a friend, leading them to a city rife with echoes from the past. New Orleans wears its history on its streets, and it’s the one place Ty’s face could get him killed. Surrounded by trouble as soon as they land, Ty and Zane are swiftly confronted with a past from which Ty can’t hide—one with a surprising connection to Zane’s. As threats close in from all directions, both men must come to terms with the lives they’ve led and the lies they’ve told. Weigh Up Regarding Books Touch & Geaux (Cut & Run #7)
UGH, this book. The 2 stars is generous, to be honest. It's really more 1.5-ish.My disclaimer on this review is that I'm not a hardcore C&R fangirl like so many others are. I just read the series because it is campy, completely unrealistic, mostly fun, escapist entertainment - I rated 5 of the 6 previous books 3 stars. I think Ty is adorable, the sex is reasonably hot, and a lot of the series has been pretty humorous. Well, this book was campy and completely unrealistic, all right, but it

I knew there was a reason I should be scared to read this one. This one was fucking brutal. On my damn heart. My stomach was in knots. This might be the most action packed of the series so far. Once again, very different from all of the other books. And talk about some realmoments.I couldn't stop reading. Things had to get better. Right? That damn ending. Though...I will say, I kind of saw it coming. You know, seeing as I read the first Sidewinder book before I started Cut & Run. I seriously

Spoiler-tags engaged...but mostly spoiler-free review! I had mixed emotions reading this book. On the one hand, cmon, its Ty & Zane. And Zane is my numero uno. And I unashamedly am one of those who was so happy to have the fluff-fest of Stars & Stripes. I couldnt wait for more. On the other hand, I was tired of all the speculation. I was a bit irritated by what I felt was manipulation - ambiguous messages released around the bookdriving readers insane with trying to guess what would

I'm about to quote LL Cool J folks...I've got to..."Don't call it a comeback!!"...Ty and Zane for fuck's sake what the hell? How can this even be that good after six books?! Two of which I barely got through!!!...This book was fucking brilliant. Jeeeeeezuz...This series might be the most torturous thing I've done to myself since I started reading M/M Romance, Ty and Zane have made me homicidal more than once, I've given up on the series, thought it had gone to shit, felt hopeful again only to be

******** SPOILERS ********* SPOILERS **********1.5 rounded to 2 for some parts that were so OTT, I had to laugh, and for 45% to 67% having some good parts. The more I think about this book, the more annoyed I'm becoming. Take for instance the Big Drama. That went NOWHERE. Okay, so these guys have been living together for a year or two, Zane is going to propose. I have to wonder though about all of this logic. Okay, Zane knows Ty has a lot secrets. They don't know about each other's past much.

I'm in Bonnie Scotland at the moment, visiting my oldest son who is in University here. Walking down the Royal Mile I stop at the street vendors... some lovely celtic jewelry and leather goods.... spot a leather bracelet with an anchor. What's a girl to do? Buy it of course.... why? Because it reminded me of Ty and Zane. Perfect logic. "You told me one time that . . . I was your compass. I gave you direction when you were lost, Ty said, nearly choking on the words. He glanced up, eyes reflecting

And you, Ty continued, his voice breaking. Youre a phoenix, Zane. Rising from the ashes. And all I do is make you burn. This book was Brutal to my heart! The FEELS were so high! GOD. SO much heartbreaks and truths and tears!! Two days ago, I was trying to decide how to ask him to marry me, Zane whispered. Tonight Im trying to figure out if I can even love someone like him. ZANE: TY: AND I WAS LIKE SCREAMING..And then ..!! I love you Zane, Ty gasped. nothing Ive done will ever change that.
