I hate cliffhangers and I dont like mini stories that I have to wait to find out what happens next. I am very frustrated!! Ok, now that I vented I feel better! Don't get me wrong, I liked the story, just frustrated that I have to wait.This is 102 pages of getting to know about Carlene and her life currently. She has lived in a shelter for a year. She lost her boyfriend in a tragic accident. We dont get privy to all that transpired in that tragedy, but learn about what she does with her life now.I really enjoyed the characters in this one. We start off with Carlene and Melisa 2 good friends that meet at their lowest points. While they are helping at the Oasis Shelter where they were once resident's, Melisa convinces Carlene to move on and start a new life for herself. Unsure if she can and with the reassurance that she is always welcome back she heads out for a fresh start. As she is struggling to make it work, an incident changes everything. Thrust into new things and a new lifestyle
My thoughts Theres nothing wrong with admiring something you love. Or owning it. In fact, if you wish for something hard enough, it might just come to you. This was a really sweet novella. It was love at first sight with a twist. Carlene has not had an easy life, but she has worked hard and she is now somewhat happy. She moved out of the shelter she was staying in, she has a good job, a great apartment, and she has found someone new she wants to spend her life with. Until everything comes
I really loved this novella! Carlene has never had an easy life, but she has really wonderful friends, and works in a homeless shelter. After a happenstance meet with Nick, she feels a connection to him she hasn't felt in a long time but life has thrown a few curveballs at her so she's cautious about who she lets in her heart. Entangled Moments by Dori Lavelle is the first book in the Moments in Time series. It has a cliffhanger ending that will leave you groaning in frustration until the next book is out. You are a wicked woman indeed Dori lavelle. Wicked.Carlene is just barely keeping it together each day until she meets Nick. I really enjoyed this novella and was a great introduction into the lives of Carlene and Nick, definitely will read the next book
