Explanation Supposing Books The Humans
Body-snatching has never been so heartwarming . . . The Humans is a funny, compulsively readable novel about alien abduction, mathematics, and that most interesting subject of all: ourselves. Combine Douglas Adams’s irreverent take on life, the universe, and everything with a genuinely moving love story, and you have some idea of the humor, originality, and poignancy of Matt Haig’s latest novel. Our hero, Professor Andrew Martin, is dead before the book even begins. As it turns out, though, he wasn’t a very nice man--as the alien imposter who now occupies his body discovers. Sent to Earth to destroy evidence that Andrew had solved a major mathematical problem, the alien soon finds himself learning more about the professor, his family, and “the humans” than he ever expected. When he begins to fall for his own wife and son--who have no idea he’s not the real Andrew--the alien must choose between completing his mission and returning home or finding a new home right here on Earth.Describe Books Concering The Humans

In August 2012 my brother committed suicide. In the dark days and weeks immediately after his death I read almost incessantly. I couldn't sleep because when I closed my eyes all I could see was his body (I had to go to the mortuary with my father to formally identify his body.) When I was awake I read so I could bear the raw grief ripping at my heart. I believe that it's thanks to books I survived those days, I'm not sure how I'd have coped without books giving me a respite from my at times4.5? This book totally surprised me! DON'T READ THIS IN PUBLIC THOUGHI started reading this on the bus and couldn't stop giggling like a madwoman! In this book, you're following an alien sent to stop human mathematical progress. He steals the body of the human he's sent to kill and we get to discover humans through his eyes. His mission is to kill anyone that might know about the mathematical equation but things don't go as planned...It quickly becomes more than just a funny book and I don't
The Humans is about a race of aliens who find out that a human mathematician has made a breakthrough with a mathematical problem that will lead to a vast jump in technology. This species of aliens has already solved this problem and live a life of utopia. There is no death or pain, there are no wars or illness. However, they do not trust the human species to follow the same course. So, they abduct the mathematician, clone and kill him. They then send the narrator of this story down to earth to

This was awesome. I chuckled so much and I barely ever do that while reading a book. "Andrew" as a character is absolutely genius. I don't really know what to say, y'all should just read it!!!
4 utterly mundane ★★★★✩ This book is for you if you are ready for an unusual blend of genres; you will want to laugh out loud at your own silliness and you should be capable of self-irony, because boy was mine triggered. ⇝Overall I knew that this book was going to be peculiar and funny in the best kind of ways because I'v read How to Stop Time by Matt a while ago. THE HUMANS is a homage to all the people who think they've got things figured out (sometimes me). The originality of the plot
My full review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shEKa...This fucking book! I picked this book up because I saw it recommended by a booktuber, and I wasn't expecting that much going into it. But I can honestly say this is a new favorite book of all time. This story follows an alien who gets put into the body of this man named Andrew Martin. The reason he gets put in his body is because Andrew Martin has a made a mathematical breakthrough and the aliens have determined humans are not ready for the
